A badminton friend passed away before Xmas and the following was posted in the Gazette;
SADLER Brian John Hugh Passed away peacefully on Saturday 9th December 2017 aged 85. Loving Dad, Granddad and Great Granddad. Funeral service to take place at Colchester Crematorium on Friday 5th January 2018 at 2.45pm. Family Flowers only please, donations if desired to Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, may be sent to Hunnaball of Colchester, York House, 41 Mersea Road, Colchester CO2 7QT. Tel 01206 760049.
Brian was a long standing member of Corinthians Badminton Club.
